Richards Bay will take on AmaZulu in a highly anticipated KwaZulu-Natal derby in the Nedbank Cup Round of 16.
The draw, conducted on Wednesday, has set up an all-KZN clash as the two sides battle for supremacy and a place in the quarter-finals of the Ke Yona Cup.
The Natal Rich Boyz advanced to the Round of 16 after defeating Siwelele FC on penalties away from home this past weekend.
Richards Bay and AmaZulu have already met in the Betway Premiership this season, with Bay securing a 2-0 victory at the Umhlathuze Sports Ground in November last year, courtesy of goals from Moses Mthembu and Wandile Ngema.
The Nedbank Cup Round of 16 encounter is expected to be played at the same venue, as Richards Bay were drawn at home.
The PSL has confirmed that the Round of 16 fixtures will take place next weekend, with exact dates and kick-off times to be announced in the coming days.
