Richards Bay have announced the signing of left-back Siphamandla Gwele to shore up their defensive departments ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Gwele arrives at the KwaZulu-Natal outfit from lower-division side Ravens FC, putting pen to paper on a two-year contract that includes a further two-year extension option.
The promising young defender joins a Richards Bay side that secured a stable 11th-place finish in the Betway Premiership last season. His arrival marks the first official signing for the Natal Rich Boyz as they begin reshaping their squad for the new season.
