Richards Bay have confirmed the signings of three more players: goalkeeper Nhlakanipho Ngcobo, striker Nqaba Xulu and defender Siyabonga Gumede.
The trio join defender Thamsanqa Ndelu and Siphamandla Gwele as the Natal Rich Boyz continue to strengthen their squad under new head coach Ronnie Gabriel.
“Richards Bay Football Club is delighted to officially confirm the signings of goalkeeper Nhlakanipho Ngcobo, striker Nqaba Xulu and defender Siyabonga Gumede,” the club said in a statement.
“We wish them every success as they begin this exciting new chapter in the colours of the Natal Rich Boyz.
“Welcome to the family!!”
Richards Bay have built a reputation for identifying and developing relatively unknown talent, providing players with the opportunity to establish themselves in the Betway Premiership.
That approach has paid dividends in recent seasons, with players such as Yanela Mbuthuma and Sbangani Zulu earning moves to Orlando Pirates after impressing at the club.
